Raymond Ansotegui is a Montana-born facilitator, TEDx speaker, and nature-based healing practitioner who works with executive leaders, military veterans, people in recovery, and Native elders. A Certified Real LIFE Facilitator and leader within the global HATCH Network, he draws on breathwork, somatic practices, ceremony, and storytelling to cultivate resilience and connection. His experience spans a decade as a rodeo bullfighter, a career in land stewardship and ecological restoration, and speaking engagements at TEDx, HATCH, and Elevation Barn.
Every engagement is built around one question: what does this group need to reconnect with themselves, with each other, and with something larger? Raymond brings the full depth of his experience to every room he enters.

Listen on SpotifyLife lessons from inside the rodeo arena: fear, presence, and what it really means to show up fully for another human being. Raymond's TEDx talk takes audiences into the dust and danger of professional bullfighting to reveal timeless truths.
The lessons don't stay in the arena. They travel into every boardroom, circle, and ceremonial space Raymond enters.
Watch the TalkFrom conference stages to high school classrooms, Raymond carries the arena into every room: courage is built on preparation, and the work is showing up for the people who depend on you.
"Raymond is not only a championship bullfighter but also a masterful teacher of love, respect, and the transformative power of vulnerability. His work creates genuine breakthroughs in the people he serves."
"Raymond's courage is built on preparation, humility, and a commitment to others. Again and again, he steps into danger to protect fallen riders: reading the bull, staying close enough to make a difference, and trusting his training when there's no margin for error. He shows that character isn't measured by avoiding failure, but by getting back up and showing up for those who depend on you. That same spirit belongs in our classrooms, where students can learn to fail forward, lean into the opportunities that scare them most, and discover the value of serving others before themselves."
"I expected a talk about what bullfighting is. I didn't expect to walk away with a deeper understanding of connection to your passion and how to calm your nerves. I'm a ski racer, and at the top of a Super-G I often get so nervous I don't perform. Raymond taught us that performing isn't about pushing through fear and hoping it works out; you ground yourself, set your mind to the mission, and do it. You grab the bull by the horns. That is how you reach your dreams."
"One key lesson I learned from Raymond's stories of professional bullfighting is that resilience in the face of failure is essential for growth and success; every setback is an opportunity to learn and get back up stronger."
"Raymond has spent his life helping create safe passage through difficult terrain, whether that terrain was a charging bull, a damaged landscape, or a person standing at a crossroads. He is profound in his service." Yarrow Kraner, CEO / Founder of HATCH
